Tips on making a sofa table with a glass insert?
Hi. I want to build my own sofa table with a glass panel in the center. Nothing too fancy. Something similar to this table:

Kind of hard to give someone a carpentry course on yahoo answers. Google do-it-yourself table construction or get a book. Not that hard but there's a LOT of things you have to know and a LOT of steps to follow. If you don't have a router, you can cut out the tabletop then use 1/4 " flatstock to make a 'frame' for the glass which just goes on top to drop the glass into etc. etc.
