I am needing the hardware that connects the rotating top to the base.

2. Is the hardware missing or damaged?
2a If it is damaged you may have some luck going through some of the (antique replacement hardware) sites. Failing this you might have some success in trying to get it repaired or correspond with a supplier of antique replacement hardware for their opinion.
2b If it is missing, you should try and locate a similar piece so that you might at least get a gander at what it looks like. If you have an actual piece of furniture then take pictures and go back to 2a.
